    Blessed Mother of Addenda!

    So without paying a whole lot of attention to it, it turns out that I need to publish some explanations for some stuff!

    1. I retained the low-resolution GIF logo. If this ever goes to print I might update that with the new and improved one that is less fuzzy.
    2. Cooler heads have prevailed and started calling it 5 (not V) because we went and got college degrees in the interim and realized how stupid it sounded the other way.
    3. I tried to continue the Volkswagen theme from Excuses Four, but stamped it out with vigor upon the resumption of the series.
    4. I really did eat 10 hot dogs. $1 hot dog promotion at a Cleveland Indians game, so my friend Mike who runs the blog Classy SF dared me to and sponsored the experience. Long about the 7th inning I started regretting things as I attempted to consume dogs #8, 9, and 10. Attempts to find a vendor selling any drink that wasn’t beer were not being met with success for a good 15 or 20 minutes.

    For some reason this post wound up being far less exciting than I’d hoped when I started it. As for Excuses, enjoy going back in time four years, and next week it’ll be 2010 again when we publish Edition 7.
